Washington Middle School School Supply List 2026-27

The WMS office is closed in July and will reopen August 3. If you have any questions or concerns during the month of July, please contact the district office at 636-231-2000.

7^th grade orientation is August 11. 7 White Team will attend in the morning from 9:00-10:30 am and the 7 Blue Team will attend in the afternoon from 1:00-2:30 pm. The orientation is just for students. No backpacks are needed this day.

Parents and students are invited to attend the Washington Middle School Open House. 7^th grade is scheduled for August 19 and 8^th grade is August 20. Both are from 5:30-7:00 pm. The Open House is an opportunity to walk through your child’s classrooms,meet the teachers, and see the school.

Please make sure your child knows their bus number the first day of school. They often forget this.during dismissal. If they do not know the number, please call First Student BEFORE school starts at 636-239-1429 to find out.

If the student is going to ride a different bus than normal, you must complete a Bus Change of Transportation form 24 hours in advance. The form is found on the website under “Transportation” and either fax it to First Student at 636-239-7239 or bring it to the WMS Open House. 

The first day of school is August 24.

School pictures will be taken August 27 for 7^th graders and August 28 for 8^th graders both starting at 8:30 am. Order forms will be available in the school office. If you would like to order pictures, please send the order form and payment to school the day of pictures. Your child will give this to the photographer. All students will get their picture taken for the yearbook.

Picture retakes are September 24 starting at 8:30 am.

There is a charge for lunches and any extras. Please fill out the free and reduced lunch form if you think you will be needing this for the upcoming school year. These forms are found on the district website or they are available in the school office.
