Washington Middle School School Supply List 2025-26

The deadline to order a yearbook for this year is February 27^th. Pick up a flyer from the office.

February 10: Progress Reports were emailed home

February 13 & 16: No School

February 23-27: District-Wide Food Drive. If interested in donating, WMS is assigned Mac & Cheese.

Leadership is selling Candy Grams during lunch. They are $1 which includes hugs and kisses candy or a small package of M&M’s..

Art Club, Brain Bowl, and Gamer’s Club meet February 12 from 3:30-4:30 pm.

February 17: D&D Club meets from 3:30-4:30 pm in Mrs. Straatmann’s room and FFA meets from 3:30-5:00 pm in Mrs. Bade’s room. 

February 19: 8^th grade enrolling for Freshman year with high school counselors, Stuco meets at 8:00 am in Mrs. Faust’s room and Brain Bowl meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mr. Dennis’ room.

The All District Honor Choir Performs February 21 at the Festus Performing Arts Center. 

February 23-27: FFA Week Spirit Days
Monday: Favorite Tractor Shirt Day (John Deere green or IH red? Represent your favorite brand colors.)
Tuesday: Farmer Day
Wednesday: Camo Day (no hats, no face paints, no face masks)
Thursday: FFA Shirt/Blue & Gold Day
Friday: Hat Day ($1 in the cafeteria before school)

Track season begins March 9^th. Students interested in participating must submit an agreement form and complete the registration process through the athletic department at the high school along with uploading a sports physical. If you have any questions, please see Coach Hornback or Coach Haddox. 

The Glow Together School Dance is February 20^th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the WMS gym and cafeteraia. Tickets are $15. Tickets include entry, glow items, snacks, and water. Then, soda, Bubblers, and face paint will be available for purchase. Turn in permission slips and money to Room 2243, Mrs. Faust, or the office. Questions or financial assistance? Fundraiser for Blue Jays at the Blues Game on March 10^th. Each ticket sold on our unique WMS link, the Blues will donate a portion to us. Please spread the word around to your friends, family, etc. Use social media if you’d like. It’s Wayne Gretzky bobblehead giveaway as well. Link to purchase tickts can be found in Parentsquare.

WHS Jaywalkers Dance Open Gym is March 20^th from 6-8 pm in the Little Blue Jay Gym at WHS. This is open to 6^th grade and up. Come find out what it takes to be a Jaywaker.
