Washington High School Scholar Bowl Team Places Second at GAC Tournament
The Washington High School scholar bowl team registered a second-place finish at the GAC Tournament on Saturday, March 14, at North Point High School.
March 30-April 6: No School
Congratulations to the volleyball teams. Over the weekend 7th grade took second in the Blue Jay tournament and 8th grade took first in the Owensville tournament! Way to Go!
March 16-18: 8 Blue & 8 White Teams attending Compass Healthy Relationships Presentation.
March 17: D&D Club meets 3:30-4:30 in Mrs. Straatmann’s room.
March 18: WHS Color Guard presentation in the gym at 8:00 am and the Orchestra Concert is in the WHS CJB at 7:00 pm.
March 19: Report Cards will be emailed home, Brain Bowl meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mr. Dennis’ room, and Parent -Teacher Conferences are by appointment only from 4:30-6:30 pm.
WHS Jaywalkers Dance Open Gym is March 20th from 6-8 pm in the Little Blue Jay Gym at WHS. This is open to 6th grade and up. Come find out what it takes to be a Jaywaker.
Art Club meets March 26 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Art room.
Current 6th & 7th Graders: If interested in trying out for WMS cheer for next year, open gyms are March 24 & April 14 in the WHS Little Blue Jay Gym from 6:00-7:30 pm. Tryouts are April 28-30 from 6:00-7:30 pm also in the Little Blue Jay Gym. Pick up a flyer in the office with additional information and to register for tryouts. For tryouts, please create an athletic account on the WHS website and upload your sports physical. You will not be able to tryout unless this is complete.
