WMS summer office hours through June are Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. We are closed on Fridays in June and June 19th. The office is also closed in July and will reopen August 1. If you have any questions or concerns during the month of July, please contact our district office at 636-231-2000.

There are a few yearbooks left from the 23-24 school year. if you would like to purchase a yearbook, call us to reserve one for you and schedule a time to pick it up. They are $30.

Summer School is for required students only and held online: June 3-6, 10-13, 17, 18 & 20, 24-27.

Check your emails in July for a summer email with important information and dates for the upcoming school year.

If your child does not know which bus they ride, please call First Student before school starts at 636-239-1429. Please remind your student of the bus number the first day of school. It is very helpful if the student knows their bus number. Often they forget their number at dismissal.

If the student is going to ride a different bus than normal, you must fill out a bus Change of Transportation Form found on the website under "Transportation" and either fax it to First Student at 636-239-7239 or bring it to orientation.

7th Grade Orientation:
August 6th

• Schedules and teams will be posted to the Lumen account later this summer before orientation.
• 7 White Team attends 9:00-10:30 am
• 7 Blue Team attends 1:00-2:30 pm
• Students will get their schedules, visit classrooms, and receive chromebooks. 7th graders please bring proof of residency. Also, complete the 1:1 Agreement in order to pick up the chromebook. The 1:1 Agreement can be found on the district website under Quick Links, Registration/Enrollment, click "Student has been previously enrolled or is a current student", scroll down to 1:1 Parent/Student Chromebook Handbook, complete the last page. We do urge you to sign up for the insurance as well.

Parents and students are invited to attend the Washington Middle School Open House. 7th grade is scheduled for August 14th and 8th grade is August 15th. Both are from 5:30-7:00 pm. The open house is an opportunity to walk through your child's classrooms, meet the teachers, and see the school.

There is no 8th grade orientation. 8th grade students will pick up their chromebook during the 8th grade Open House on August 15 from 5:30-7:00 pm.

Fall sports start in August. There are no tryouts for Cross Country. Girls' basketball tryouts have not been set yet. All athletes must have a current sports physical and completed registration prior to tryouts and/or first practice. If you have any questions regarding physicals, please call the high school athletic office at 636-231-2180.

There is a charge for lunches and any extras. Please fill out the free and reduced lunch form if you think you will be needing this for the upcoming school year. These forms are found on the district website or they are available in the school office.

The first day of school is August 19 from 8:25 am-3:30 pm.

School pictures will be taken August 22 for 7th graders and August 23 for 8th graders starting at 8:25 am. 

Picture retakes are September 25 at 8:25 am.
