The school cafeteria is maintained as a vital part of the health program at Washington Middle School. To encourage good nutrition, a well-balanced lunch is offered at a reasonable price. Information regarding the cost of lunch and payment options will be sent home with each student at the beginning of the school year. Students pay also bring a lunch from home. Breakfast is available from 7:55-8:15 a.m. each morning.
Students will be issued a four digit ID number that will be used to access their lunch account. This account number will operate as a debit card. Money is put into the lunch account and then deducted as the student uses it to purchase food items from the cafeteria. Money is to be deposited before school until 10 a.m. Any money received after 10 a.m. will be deposited the next day. Money is to be placed into a secure box by the cafeteria kitchen doors. Please write the full name of the student on the check or the envelope to receive proper credit. Money may also be deposited into your child's account through the district's online payment system.
