March 30-April 6: No School

Congratulations to the volleyball teams. Over the weekend 7^th grade took second in the Blue Jay tournament and 8^th grade took first in the Owensville tournament! Way to Go!

March 19: Report Cards will be emailed home, Brain Bowl meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mr. Dennis’ room, and Parent -Teacher Conferences are by appointment only from 4:30-6:30 pm. 

March 20 Leadership is sponsoring a hat day for $1 benefitting the United Way.

WHS Jaywalkers Dance Open Gym is March 20^th from 6-8 pm in the Little Blue Jay Gym at WHS. This is open to 6^th grade and up. Come find out what it takes to be a Jaywaker. 

Monday, March 23, the volleyball game is at home during the day starting around 12:30 pm. Students will be dismissed to the game via the intercom; 7^th grade for the 7^th grade game and 8^th grade for the 8^th grade game. The theme is Blue Hawaiian/Blue Jay dress up. There will be concessions, Hawaiian glasses, and lei’s to purchase. Soda and Lei’s are $1. Candy, popcorn, and sunglasses are $2. Parents will need to check in at the office before going to the game.

Art Club meets March 26 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Art room.

Current 6^th & 7^th Graders: If interested in trying out for WMS cheer for next year, open gyms are March 24 & April 14 in the WHS Little Blue Jay Gym from 6:00-7:30 pm. Tryouts are April 28-30 from 6:00-7:30 pm also in the Little Blue Jay Gym. Pick up a flyer in the office with additional information and to register for tryouts. For tryouts, please create an athletic account on the WHS website and upload your sports physical. You will not be able to tryout unless this is complete.
