Washington Middle School School Supply List 2025-26

Just a reminder that all families must complete their child’s online enrollment in Lumen before the first day of school on August 18^th. 

Please make sure your child knows their bus number for dismissal. If you do not know, call First Student before school starts at 636-239-1429.

Parents and students are invited to attend the Washington Middle School Open House. 7^th grade is scheduled for August 13 and 8^th grade is August 14. Both are from 5:30-7:00 pm. The open house is an opportunity to walk through your child’s classrooms, meet the teachers, and see the school.

Girls basketball tryouts begin on August 18 from 4-6 pm. Students will meet in the gym after school and then tryout. Frist round of cuts will be August 20 and final cuts August 21. **See below regarding physicals. Everyone must create a new account and have a sports physical uploaded in order to tryout. Any questions, please call the athletic office at the high school at 636-231-2180.

Cross Country practice begins on August 18 from 3:30-5:00 pm for the middle school at Scanlan Stadium. Students need to meet on the steps by the concession stand. **See below regarding physicals. Everyone must create a new account and have a sports physical upladed in order to participate. Any questions, please call the athletic office at the high school at 636-231-2180.

**Physical information: The platform we have used for the past several years has now changed due to one company purchasing another. Unfortunately, everyone will be starting from scratch with a new account for online registration for MSHSAA sanctioned activities. The WHS athletic office has printed a copy of the physical that you uploaded in the past if you are needing a copy for this year. Register on the WHS athletic web page. If you have any questions regarding physicals, please call the high school athletic office at 636-231-2180. 

If the student is going to ride a different bus than normal, you must fill out a bus Change of Transportation form 24 hours in advance. The form is found on the website under “Transportation” and either fax it to First Student at 636-239-7239 or bring it to orientation.

There is a charge for lunches and any extras. Please fill out the free and reduced lunch form if you think you will be needing this for the upcoming school year. These forms are found on the district website or they are available in the school office.

The first day of school is August 18 from 8:25 am-3:30 pm. 

School pictures will be taken August 21 for 7^th graders and August 22 for 8^th graders both starting at 8:25 am. Picture order forms are available online and we will have copies set out for students at orientation and open house. If you would like to order pictures, please send the order form and payment the day of pictures. Your child will give this to the photographer.

Picture retakes are September 25 starting at 8:30 am.
