Family Reading Night Held at Washington Middle School
Family Reading Night, a free community event, was held on Friday, March 6, at Washington Middle School. An estimated 800 people attended the event.
March 9: 7 Blue Team registering for 8th grade and home volleyball game vs Sullivan at 5:30.
March 11: 7 White Team registering for 8th grade, Orchestra performs at Homestead at Hickory View, and the volleyball game is in Pacific at 5:30 pm.
March 12: End of 3rd quarter, JA Biz Town Leadership field trip, Stuco meets at 8:00 am in Mrs. Faust’s room. Art Club, Brain Bowl and Gamer’s Club meet from 3:30-4:30 pm, and the volleyball game is in New Haven at 5:30 pm.
March 13: No School
March 14: 7th grade volleyball tournament at WHS and 8th grade volleyball in the Owensville tournament.
March 30-April 6: No School
Track season begins March 9th. Students interested in participating must submit an agreement form and complete the registration process through the athletic department at the high school along with uploading a sports physical. If you have any questions, please see Coach Hornback or Coach Haddox.
Fundraiser for Blue Jays at the Blues Game on March 10th. Each ticket sold on our unique WMS link, the Blues will donate a portion to us. Please spread the word around to your friends, family, etc. Use social media if you’d like. It’s Wayne Gretzky bobblehead giveaway as well. Link to purchase tickets can be found in Parent Square.
Epsilon Beta Book Club meets March 10 from 3:30-4:30 pm in the library.
WHS Jaywalkers Dance Open Gym is March 20th from 6-8 pm in the Little Blue Jay Gym at WHS. This is open to 6th grade and up. Come find out what it takes to be a Jaywaker.
