If ordering any boys basktball or cheer pictures, please turn in order forms and money to the office this week. 

Congratulations to the following WMS students who were cast in the WHS spiring play, The Iliad, The Odyssey, and all of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less! Students are Logan Wheeler, Wyatt Tapley, Rachel Hill, Ellie Wells, Amelia Timpe, and Genevieve Temme.

January 22: Sutco meets at 8:00 am in Mrs. Faut’s room, Brain Bowl meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mr. Dennis’ room, and the basketball day game is in Hermann at 12:30 pm. 

Volleyball tryouts are at the end of January.Remember to create an account and upload student’s sports physical to the athletic website before tryouts. You will not be able to tryout until this is completed. Paper copies of the physical will not be accepted. Sign-up sheets are in the office.

January 27 from 3:45-5:15 pm

*7^th Grade Volleyball Tryouts in WMS Gym:
January 26 from 6:00-7:45 pm
January 27 & 28 from 5:30-7:15 pm

January 27: Epsilon Beta Book Club meets 3:30-4:30 pm in the library and FFA meetis from 3:30-5:00 pm in Mrs. Bade’s room.

January 29: Art Club meets 3:30-4:30 pm in the art room, Brain Bowl meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mr. Dennis’ room, and Gamer’s Club meets 3:30-4:30 pm in Mrs. Young’s room.

Any WMS student interested in tech crew for the 2026 spring play, please sign up with Ms. Mathes in the counseling office.

Washington High School will hold its Curriculum Fair on Wednesday, February 4, for 8^th grade parents and students. The event offers families the chance to explore programs and courses available at WHS and includes a meet-and-greet for incoming parochial families, enrollment meetings for both parochial and public school families, and an Early College Program informational session. Meet in the CJB at 5:00 pm and the curriculum fair starts at 6:15 pm in the WHS gym.

The Glow Together School Dance is February 20^th from 4:00-6:00 pm in the WMS gym and cafeteraia. Tickets are $10 early bird until February 1^st and $15 from February 1^st-20^th. Tickets include entry, glow items, snacks, and water.  Soda, Bubblers, and face paint will be available for purchase. Turn in permission slips and money to Room 2243, Mrs. Faust , or the office. The weight room will be available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays after school from 3:30-4:45 pm.
