Washington Middle School School Supply List 2025-26

Thank you to all who brought in food items for Loving Hearts! We collected over 2,500 items! The most ever and we are so excited! Thanks again for supporting the community!

The 8^th grade Union basketball tournament is this week. 

Stuco meets Dec. 4 at 8:00 am and from 3:30-5:00 pm (planning for dance) in Mrs. Faust’s room.

Art Club (Art room) and Brain Bowl (Mr. Dennis’ room) meet Dec. 4 from 3:30-4:30 pm.

The wrestling dual in Union is December 4^th at 5:00 pm.

Turn in your Fall Book Bingo cards by Friday morning, December 5^th. Mrs. Jankowski will accept them in the library. 

The Middle School Weight Room Program officially began Dec. 1^st. The weight room will be available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after school from 3:30-4:45. Students will walk over to the high school together after dismissal to the garage door behind the school. Coach Bickert or another weight coach will be there waiting for you. Parents will need to pick you up in front of the high school gym at the end of each session.

Penny Wars started December 1 and runs through the 12^th. Prizes will be given out to the winning Team. Money donated goes to the United Way. Check out the flyers in the hallway for more information.

Candy Cane Grams will be sold Dec. 8-12 during homeroom. It’s $1 to send a candy cane gram to a friend and spread holiday cheer. 

This next Epsilon Beta Book Club meeting is December 9^th from 3:30-4:30 in the library. The December 16^th meeting is cancelled.

Join the Jr. Flock in celebrating the 12 days before Holiday break. There will be surprises each day by Jr. Flock members.

Dec 5 Holiday Explosion: Wear all the holiday accessories/colors you can.
Dec 8 Candy Cane Day: Wear red and white.
Dec 9 Tree Top Tuesday: Deck yourself out with all the holiday hats/headbands/etc.
Dec10 Mistletoes: Get your festive footwear out.
Dec 11 Deck the Halls: Wear a holiday shirt of your choosing.
Dec 12 Winter Wonderland: Wear white, icy blue or silver. Bring on snow!
Dec 15 Holiday Character: Dress as your favorite holiday character; Santa, elf, Grinch, caroler, scrooge.
Dec 16 Holiday Movie Mashup: Dress as your favorite holiday movie character.
Dec 17 Grinch Day: Grinch it up with green or dress as a Whoville character.
Dec 18 Holiday Sweater: Wear your ugliest holiday sweater.
Dec. 19 Twas the Night Before Break: It’s the night before break. The kids are all tired. Wear cozy pajamas.
